About

A warm welcome to Bishop Road Primary School Bishop Road is a vibrant, story-centred community school with a focus on seeing children build strong foundations for life.

With a commitment to achieving the highest standards in learning, a rich and varied curriculum and a wealth of exciting opportunities, our school is welcoming and happy environment for children to develop and grow. A Passion for Stories We believe stories are the fundamental way people share meaning and understand the world.

Thats why we place reading and literature at the heart of our culture and ethos, dedicating time every day to reading and sharing stories and investing in high-quality books for every classroom. Inspiring curriculum We believe in developing the whole child and our enrichment programme provides a great range of opportunities and experiences for all.

From visiting speakers, trips and visits to outdoor learning and residential getaways, children have great variety in their learning. Our dedicated teachers lead a range of after-school clubs as well as staging two class performances each year which are a valued part of our community spirit.
