About

We hope this website gives you an insight into the nature of our distinctive school. Founded in 1970 and being part of the Diocese of Clifton, ours is a family orientated school which is part of the Parish of St Augustine of Canterbury, Downend and St John Fisher, Frenchay.

Learning is at the heart of everything we do and our school is open and welcome to everyone wishing a Christian education for their child. Our aim is to provide our children with the best possible education academically, spiritually, culturally and emotionally. We are an inclusive school, serving a rich and diverse community.

Here is a welcome message in many of the languages within our school and parish community: If you would like to ask any questions in regard to sending your child to our school we would be very happy for you to call or e-mail us with any questions you may have.

Just e-mail St Augustines Downend has been a primary school which has been pleased to welcome children living in our local community for over 50 years. We would be delighted to hear from you.
