Cookham Nursery School

Hello and welcome to Cookham, Maidenhead and The Lawns Nursery School Federation website. In May 2011 we formed our Federation cementing the already strong relationships from the 3 Nursery Schools in the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead.

The three Nursery Schools retain their individual characteristics and uniqueness that serve their local communities but are led by Executive Headteacher - Sarah Cottle and one Governing Body.

The benefits resulting from federating include the sharing of professional expertise between staff, increased staff motivation, research into the best Early Years practice, financial savings, sharing of resources and increased influence on local authority directives pertaining to Early Years education.

Our vison in creating our Federation was to provide all our children outstanding education and to establish a centre of Early Years excellence within our local authority that provides training and support for other providers (Foundation Stage 1 and Foundation Stage 2/Reception classes in local schools, pre-schools and childminders).
