About

Welcome to St Bernard's Preparatory School, one of the leading prep schools in Berkshire. As a Catholic school we celebrate the Catholic faith but also welcome and embrace children of all faiths. A key foundation of our daily school life is recognising our commonalities and celebrating our differences and developing mutual respect, understanding and tolerance.

We believe we offer children the best start to their education which will help them realise their full potential. We offer a creative and challenging curriculum, enriched by experiences and opportunities.

Small class sizes enable our team of highly qualified and enthusiastic teachers to be responsive to the needs of the individual child ensuring progression for all our children. We have a wide range of sport, music, art and drama activities on offer as well as leadership opportunities to help develop our children's confidence and character.
