At Knowles Nursery School we concentrate very much on the important processes of learning and recognise that because children are unique, they will learn at different times and at different rates.
Early learning takes place in all areas of our nursery school and is shaped by the Prime and Specific areas of Learning and Development within the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum (EYFS 2024).

Our well established key person system develops positive partnerships right from the start.
Our school learning environment gives children time and space to work both independently and in small groups. We want children to have opportunities to communicate, solve problems and negotiate as these are important skills for learning and life.
