Welcome to Chestnut Lane School & Little Chestnuts Preschool Welcome to Chestnut Lane School & Little Chestnuts Preschool at Chestnut Lane School our values make us who we are! We are passionate about instilling respect, kindness, resilience, independence and responsibility in all children from nursery to year 2, role-modelled by our staff and the wider school community.
Supporting everybody's wellbeing is fundamental to promoting these values. We are proud to have achieved the Wellbeing Award for Schools and embedded a whole school mental health and wellbeing policy, for the children, staff and families.
We know how important it is for children's learning that they feel safe, secure and confident which is why wellbeing is a priority for us all. We have developed a substantial resource base within our designated Wellbeing Room, including a large library of age-appropriate books to cover a range of emotions, and social situations.
