Iver Heath Infant School and Nursery is a Local Education Authority maintained school, which serves children aged 3 to 7 years who live in the areas of Iver Heath and George Green. The LEA provides free transport for those living in the latter area.
Applications are welcome from children living outside the reserved area, and will be considered against Buckinghamshire's Admission criteria. The admission number is 60 per year group. The school was opened in 1974, having been built on the site of a Victorian school, which had been destroyed during the War.
The premises house nine classrooms, one of which is used as a Music Room, and another a library. There are four "Quiet Rooms" between classrooms. One area is equipped as an Extra Support room called The Launch Pad . Our Hall is used for Assemblies, PE, Dance and Drama, as a dining room at lunchtime and for numerous PTA functions.
The separate buildings, which include an Administrative block complete with Medical Room, are linked by covered walkways.
