Jamies GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS™ title attempt for the largest cookery lesson (multiple venues) We have lost our wonderful friend Debbie who passed away on Sunday 22 September. Debbie was loved by all of us for her kindness and care towards our pupils and for being a trusted (and very funny) colleague.
MacMillan coffee morning came along at the same time this year so all money raised is being donated in memory of Debbie. Our sixth form and food tech departments gathered together a huge amount of cakes and selling them raised a fortune. It was a sugar rush bonanza in school but worth it. The entire school also completed a sponsored walk to Aylesbury Market Square and back.
The pupils were absolutely brilliant and represented our school beautifully. We filled the square with love and kindness giving out carnations to strangers saying 'love from Debbie'. It was a unique and very special day in the life of our school. We have raised £1791.15 from the walk and £503.48 from the Cake sale. In total we have raised £2294.63
