About

iWritten by WhatSchool from official school data (Get Information about Schools, DfE and Ofsted).

Welcome to our school website, I hope you are able to find all the information that you require. The Woodlands School is a specialist provision for children and young people with Autism or Social Communication Difficulties Disorder with associated learning difficulties. We are a proud, vibrant community dedicated to the education and development of students with Autism.

We firmly believe that disability does not limit what individuals can achieve. Our commitment is to foster an environment where each student is valued for their unique strengths and abilities. At The Woodlands School, we celebrate the achievements of our students, both big and small. Every milestone reached is a testament to their hard work and resilience.

We understand that every child learns at their own pace, and it is our mission to provide personalised support that encourages growth and independence. My experienced staff employ a variety of teaching methods and approaches tailored to meet the diverse needs of our students, ensuring that each one has the opportunity to thrive.

We recognise that education is about more than academic success; it is also about preparing students for life beyond school. With this in mind, we focus on developing essential life skills that empower our students to become independent, successful adults.
