About

The Governing Board is responsible for setting the strategic direction for the school. From this, we develop our vision and core values. Our vision for the school sets out how we want it to develop over time, and what we want it to achieve for pupils, staff and the school community.

To help us in our day-to-day activities in the school, we summarise our vision using our core values: So that children in our community can be safe , we also want them to be happy, recognise their strengths and articulate them with pride, and know what's right and wrong for themselves. We want to prepare children in our community to be ready for next steps (both academically and socially), for lifelong learning, for ambition (because every child should feel confident enough to dream big dreams), and for their community (because a sense of belonging reduces safeguarding risks experienced by young adults).
