About

Welcome to Astmoor Primary School and thank you for visiting our website. We are a community school located in the heart of Castlefields in Runcorn Town. We share our site with an adult learning centre and a private day nursery. We are also very close to the local shops, health centre and community centre.

We currently have just under 140 pupils which allows us to operate very much like a big family. We are proud of the nurturing ethos that we have cultivated in our school and positive relationships are at the heart of everything we do. Our school is a happy one and people often comment on this when they visit.

We have a very committed team of people who work tirelessly to provide the best education possible. Inclusion is our strength here at Astmoor and we are committed to finding solutions in order to support all children to do well. Please take the time to read our Inclusion Quality Mark Report - June 2025.

We were proud to receive this recognition for the second time and feel it captures the essence of our school completely.
