We hope you find everything that you need to know, however should you have any further questions please do not hesitate to contact us on - 01270 875770 (option 3) or at St Gabriel's Catholic Pre-School, we aim to create a foundation for learning for our Pre-School children by providing a caring and secure environment, both indoors and outdoors.
Our children are given the opportunity to learn and develop through contrasting combinations or structured and free play (see - Our Pre-School Day). St Gabriel's Pre-School ensures that the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) is effectively implemented during each day to support each stage of a child's development.
The EYFS is broken down into 7 Areas of Learning:- Personal, Social and Emotional Development : Making Relationships, Self Confidence and Self Awareness and Managing Feelings and Behaviour. Physical Development : Moving and Handling and Health and Self Care. Communication and Language : Listening and Attention, Understanding and Speaking.
