About

We are a vibrant, happy and very successful school. Our well-qualified, committed staff want to make a difference to the lives of our young people and will do all they can to ensure that every individual receives the very best educational experience. I warmly invite you to visit us, to see for yourself what makes Upton-by-Chester High School such an exceptional place to learn.

I have really enjoyed my time at Upton, it has been filled with interesting lessons that I feel I have learnt lots in. The extra-curricular activities are varied, and I enjoy being part of the band as it allows me to play my instrument (flute) with other talented musicians.

I am involved in the school council which gives an insight into how the school is run; I feel privileged to be part of the student voice. The trips I have had the opportunity to go on have been amazing and provided me with a chance to see people in a different light.

We have been to PGL Boreatton and tried new activities and I recently enjoyed a performance of Romeo and Juliet organized by the English Department.
