About

Thank you so much for showing interest in our School. We are a 49-place local authority special primary school based in Barnton, Cheshire West and Chester, for Autistic Spectrum Condition children with social and communication difficulties. All children are aged between 4-11 years old.

We are lucky to have a dedicated team of staff to support all of our young people in a safe, enjoyable and friendly environment. We aim to inspire learning, develop communication and improve social interaction skills in a National Autistic Society accredited environment, using recognised and relevant ASC friendly strategies alongside an adapted challenging curriculum.

We believe that everyone in our school community has the right to be listened to, have a chance to respond, so that we can all learn together. Children have daily access to speech and language therapy (SALT), emotional literacy support (ELSA) and Zones of Regulation to support understanding emotions.

Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) is core to supporting all childrens needs and to support emotional well-being.
