About

Mawnan Church of England VA Primary School has been providing education for the children of local families since 1834. Recognising its historic foundation, the school aims to serve the community by providing an education of the highest quality within the context of Christian belief and practice.

It encourages an understanding of the meaning and significance of faith and promotes Christian values through the experience it offers to all children and staff.

The school is keen to preserve and strengthen its Christian vision and shares the CE vision for education: Our vision for education is deeply Christian, with Jesus' promise of 'life in all its fullness' at its heart Our school sits at the heart of the community and is known for its welcoming and inclusive atmosphere.

We are proud to be an integral part of village life and maintain excellent links with local organisations. It is important that our children have a true sense of place, identity and belonging, and are courageous advocates, who seek out opportunities to help others.
