Hello and Welcome to South Walney Infant and Nursery School website. I feel very proud and privileged to be the Headteacher of South Walney Infant and Nursery School. We know how important it is to you, to pick the right school for your child. We are all very proud of our school.
We have very high expectations of our children and want them, most importantly to be happy and safe and to develop a life long love of learning. We are passionate about learning and nurture children's natural curiosity to learn through our rich, wide and creative curriculum.
Through our attitudes to learning we encourage and support our children to become happy, healthy, thinking, children ready and able to embrace all of life's experiences. We are a committed team of caring and dedicated staff who work together to ensure each and every child makes the best possible progress in their learning.
We believe our school is an important part of our local community and enjoy strong links with our local Saint Mary's Church. We value our close relationships with parents, carers, governors and friends who all help us to create a vibrant, exciting place to learn.
