Ennerdale CE Primary School is situated in the centre of Ennerdale Bridge.
Ennerdale Bridge is a small village at the head of the Ennerdale Valley and a key location on Alfred Wainwright's Coast to Coast. - We see our school as a beacon, and our mission statement "As one school family, we grow in God's light; sharing love, kindness and wisdom to make a positive impact on the world" is rooted in the Gospel passage: "You are the light of the world" (Matthew 5:14).
Jesus told his disciples that they have a unique and illuminating spiritual quality that should be evident to the world. We believe that all our children are unique, and this uniqueness needs to be celebrated and encouraged. Like Jesus taught, our children are the light of the world and our school a beacon of light.
