About

At Selside, all children are treated as individuals and taught in small class groups. It is this personalised approach that allows children to enjoy learning and achieve success. We believe that children thrive in this small-scale family environment where they can develop a sense of both personal and communal responsibility.

They develop the confidence to challenge themselves to try new things and achieve highly across the curriculum. We all work very hard to provide an outstanding learning environment – where you will find teachers who are passionate about great teaching and children who are enthused by learning. Our curriculum is innovative, challenging and fun.

It is taught through exciting projects both inside and outside of the classroom. We enjoy involving parents and the wider community in the life of the school as much as we can and we are proud of the many memorable learning experiences we provide together. We have a very active and supportive School Association which all families become part of.

Thank you for taking the time to look at our website. I hope you enjoy discovering more about learning at Selside School.
