We believe our school is a special place and we would encourage you to come and visit us so you can see our school in action. Our village school lies at the heart of the community, nestled in the Derbyshire hills.
We aim to make the most of this stimulating environment whilst delivering a broad and balanced curriculum. Our children love being outside and all access forest school sessions on site, led by a trained specialist, allowing them hands on experiences whilst they further explore our natural environment.
We believe all our children are equally important and we encourage them to celebrate and recognise difference. We promote the values of respect and kindness, and children value the friendships they make at Brassington.
We have high expectations for all our children, and we encourage them to reach their academic and social potential as they learn knowledge and skills that prepares them for Secondary School and beyond.
