Lea Primary School, Church Street, Lea, Matlock, Derbyshire, DE4 5JP A very warm welcome to our Federation; Lea, Tansley and Wessington Primary Schools, working successfully together. We work closely to create the best education for all our children (age 2-11 years).
We hope the information in this website will give you an idea of our schools; their values, beliefs and vision and what we think makes them all a very special place. Ofsted have judged all these settings to be good or better!
One of the main strengths and positive benefits of the federation is the wealth of opportunities we can offer the children due to the skillset of a larger staff and being able to join together to access a variety of activities. We only see the positives and benefits!
We strongly believe that enjoyment and being happy at school (both staff and children) is one of the most important aspects of school life. Children who love school, love learning. We have found that the more we bring enjoyment into school life, the greater the positive impact in the classroom.
