Whaley Bridge Primary School opened in 1911 and has been the bedrock of the community ever since. I joined the school as Headteacher in November 2020 and am proud to play a part in continuing that legacy.
As a school we pride ourselves on creating a welcoming and inclusive community, and our school motto for every child a chance to shine is exemplified both in our high academic expectations and our dedicated and nurturing personal support for all our pupils.
We are fortunate to have wonderful grounds which are surrounded by gardens and trees which provide a haven for wildlife, and the perfect environment for our pupils to explore and develop a love of nature. We aim to lay the foundations for life long learning, so children can become successful young adults who embrace the challenges ahead.
We are here to inspire, nurture and encourage children to be the best they can be.
