About

Welcome to The Spires College, an 11-18 secondary school with both a comprehensive intake and a selective intake. I am incredibly proud to be the Principal of The Spires College and am privileged to work with such a dedicated team of staff and with so many wonderful young people. Our aim is simple: to make certain that every young person achieves their true potential.

We prioritise a love of learning. Our curriculum is focused on the teaching of rich, valuable knowledge and on the skills required to make effective use of this knowledge.

Our teachers are passionate about their subjects and enjoy sharing their expertise with the children they teach, as well as using their pedagogical knowledge in the classroom to ensure that children learn effectively.

At The Spires College we believe that the ability to read with understanding, judiciousness and confidence is one of the most valuable skills anyone can have and so we devote significant time and resources to developing these capabilities.
