A very warm welcome to Cheselbourne Village School! Cheselbourne Village School may be small in size, but it is big on what it offers the children who attend. Our lovely, rural first school and pre-school supports around 50 children from the surrounding charming Dorset villages of Cheselbourne, Ansty, Melcombe Bingham and Hilton.
It also offers places to children from further afield. At Cheselbourne w e are Proud to be a Small School with ' Equality' at the heart .
We are excited about learning and pride ourselves on our extremely passionate staff, who take advanta ge of our smaller classes to provide creative, stimulating and exciting learning opportunities designed to support every child in achieving their full potential.
All of this is done in a nurturing, safe and fun environment, where strong friendships are forged and children gain a love of learning that will last them a lifetime. In 2023 OFSTED graded our school GOOD and our positive report states:
