At our school we have built a friendly and welcoming place of learning. We take pride in our warm and positive atmosphere believing that happy children make good learners. We are firm advocates of valuing children for who they are, in addition to what they achieve. We feel it is just as important to praise effort as well as results!
We were invited to the grand opening of Sandford's new Lidl's store. Our School Council represented the school and were given a look around the store and behind the scenes. On Sunday evening we were invited to attend the Wareham Lions Swim for charity awards presentation at the Purbeck Centre.
We were presented with the Endeavour Shield in recognition of the school community's enthusiasm, commitment and success. This was collected by some Year 6 pupils and... We paid our respects on Tuesday with a special whole school assembly and by focusing our learning around Remembrance Day. Thank you to everyone who donated and bought a poppy or an item from the sale.
