About

We are extremely proud of our happy and successful school, and I hope that the website will give you a glimpse into life here, that will inspire and encourage you to find out more. We would love to welcome you to our school for a visit where, I have no doubt, you will experience first-hand our warm and friendly environment.

Sacred Heart School was established in 1938 by the Sisters of the Order of Notre Dame and the original school accommodated just 11 children. We now have pupil numbers of around 150 and welcome boys and girls from 2 to 11 years of age.

As a small community, we know each child individually, we recognise and encourage their strengths and support them in overcoming areas of difficulty. We acknowledge the unique gifts of each child and instill a strong sense of self-worth by celebrating personal achievements.

Courtesy and care for each other are important values nurtured at Sacred Heart School and, leading by example, we teach children to respect themselves and each other.
