Baynards Primary School is a smaller than average sized primary school for children aged 4-11 years in the village of Tiptree. We are situated in attractive, wooded grounds with a large playing field, which includes apparatus for the children to play on, and dedicated space for children in Reception class to use.
We also have a woodland area for use in our Forest Schools sessions which are led by Essex Wildlife Trust. The school has four spacious and well-resourced classrooms and children are taught in mixed year groups from Key Stage 1 onwards. When children start at Baynards Primary School, they join Class 1 with their well-resourced classroom and outdoor area.
Each year, we take a maximum of 15 children giving the children the best start possible to their education journey through the school. We have ample spaces in the school to enable quality group work, a Sensory Room for children who need a little additional emotional support, and pride ourselves on being a book rich environment for all.
