About

Ethos Committee This is the governor committee which provides a direct link between the school and the church.

This is because the Foundation Governors, who are appointed by the Diocese of Gloucester, are specifically required to be members of this committtee, working closely with school leaders and other governors to ensure the school's vison and values are seen in action in our school.

Our Terms of Reference state that this committee has responsibility to support, advise and challenge the Headteacher and governing body on matters relating to the distinctiveness and effectiveness of the school as a Church of England school. What does this mean?

We support and promote our school's inclusive vision and values, aiming to ensure that every child is recognised as a unique individual, that our curriculum is designed to recognise children's differences and talents so that every child can flourish, and that children learning at Kempsford C.E. Primary have a happy, investigative and enquiring time.
