I have great pleasure in welcoming you to Powell's Church of England VA Primary School. We are a school with a rich history and an exciting future. Through these pages, I hope that you will understand why we believe that our school is such a special place for young people to learn and develop.
We are an inclusive, caring school, where we give everyone the time and support needed to challenge and guide one another; to open minds, widen horizons and to work together towards the flourishing of all members of our school community so that everyone can fulfil their potential.
We are totally committed to ensuring that learning is exceptional for everyone within our community. We provide as many opportunities for children as we can. Through a rich, varied and vibrant curriculum, children are able to flourish in areas that they already enjoy as well as encountering new experiences to spark their inquisitive minds.
We ensure that every day is a learning adventure, for children to explore both within the school curriculum and through a raft of extra-curricular clubs.
