About

It is a great privilege to be the Headteacher of Bettridge School. We are proud to share with you the excellent work we do with children and young people who have Special Educational Needs and Disabilities.

We are a specialist provision catering for 148 children and young people from the age of 4 to 19 with Special Educational Needs within the areas of Communication and Interaction, Cognition and Learning and Sensory and/or Physical needs.

The young people are at the centre of every decision we make and we take great pride in celebrating their achievements and encouraging the families to take an active role in their child's education and future life goals.

We provide a supportive, positive and educational environment in order to enable learners to achieve and make progress against the outcomes in their Education, Health and Care Plans. The school provides access to a good quality and balanced curriculum which is individualised through 'pathways' to meet the needs of the learner.
