About

Nestled in the heart of the Test Valley, our small but growing school is an exciting place to come and learn. Our community is drawn together from Stockbridge and its surrounding villages, as well as those further afield, which makes it a very special place.

I am enormously privileged to be the headteacher at Stockbridge and have seen it make quite a journey – always with children at the very heart of every decision and move we make.

We are a school for families: our children are organised into 'family groups' who eat and play together, and children are buddied up within their family so that an older child is always looking out for their younger buddy.

Family is a big part of our culture; knowing parents and grandparents or extended family as well as the children themselves helps to foster a happy community that shares one purpose – the all-round education of its children.
