I am delighted to welcome you to the Horndean Church of England Junior School website on behalf of our children, staff and governors. We are proud of the high standards our children achieve not only in their academic study and behaviour, but also in music and sport.
Our large school has strong Christian foundations and every child is valued and supported in aspiring to excellence. We are a good school, providing an outstanding Church School education. Our core Christian Values of Thinking with Thanksgiving, Learning with Love and Caring with Compassion underpin all that we do and define our school ethos.
We hope you enjoy finding out about our school through this website. Please feel free to contact the school direct with any queries you may have. We would be delighted to meet you and your child and provide you with the opportunity to come and see us at work. Miss Maria Ackland Headteacher Year 6 Portsmouth Cathedral Leavers' Service July 2019
