About

Our vision is of a Federation that achieves success for all. This means that everyone is challenged and supported to make good or better progress. Everyone is motivated, confident, safe and healthy. Everyone participates in a range of activities, in and out of school, and contributes to the wider community.

Here at Blackminster we are proud to have been serving our community since 1939. We're a small, rural school and proud of our place here. We work with local businesses; we have excellent links with local schools and further and higher education providers; we support local charities.

Our Ofsted report in 2018 stated "You have a school community in which pupils and staff are optimistic and positive about learning"
