About

Welcome to Shepherd Primary School. I hope that you enjoy visiting our website and finding out more about our school. I am incredibly proud to be the Headteacher of Shepherd Primary School, working alongside such a dedicated and creative team of staff and governors.

People visiting our school, often comment on how warm and welcoming our school feels and how wonderful our school environment is. We have created a highly inclusive school that has high expectations of all children.

Our school motto is Achieving Together and this starts right down in Nursery and Reception when children first join our school and continues through until children leave us to transfer to secondary school. During their journey at Shepherd Primary School, children learn to demonstrate our six values: Respect, Responsibility, Resourcefulness, Resilience, Reflection and Reasoning.

Children play a key part in the direction of our school and are given opportunities to help to shape our school, by taking a role as Head Boy or Head Girl, an Eco-Watcher, a STEM Ambassador or a House Captain, or by serving on a key committee such as our School Council or the Wildlife and Gardening Committee.
