About

I warmly welcome you to The Russell School. I am very proud to be part of this vibrant, happy and caring school, where children are firmly at the heart of everything we do. Our school is a wonderful place to learn, play and work, set in beautiful surroundings at the heart of a supportive village community.

We pride ourselves on being an inclusive school with a close-knit, family feel. Our staff are able to really get to know each child and work hard to meet their needs to the very best of our ability. We have high expectations for all our pupils and value every child as a unique and important part of our community. Our curriculum is exciting, engaging and ambitious.

We believe in giving children a hands-on approach to learning, allowing them to explore, experiment and experience activities that inspire curiosity and a love of discovery.
