Nestled in beautiful surroundings on the northern edge of Welwyn Garden City, Homerswood offers a calm, spacious setting for children to thrive. We are a one-form entry school with eight classes, including our vibrant Nursery, and we can accommodate up to 236 pupils from ages 3 to 11.
For Reception through to Year 6, our school day runs from 8:50am to 3:20pm, with a gentle soft start allowing children to arrive between 8:35 and 8:50am to ease into their day. The children have a 15-minute break and an hour for lunch. This equates to 32.5hours. Our nursery is open each morning from 8:45 to 11:45am at present.
Please watch this space for updates on our nursery expansion to be in place for January 2026. We also know how important flexibility is for modern families. That's why we offer wraparound care through our Breakfast and After-School Clubs, running from 7:30am to 6:00pm.
