About

Thank you for your interest in Nascot Wood Infant and Nursery School. The choice of nursery or Primary school is often the first big decision parents have to make concerning their child's education. We fully understand how much time and thought must be invested to ensure the right decision is made.

I am proud to be the headteacher of a nurturing school where the focus is as much on how children learn as what they learn. We are committed to providing the best possible education for our children and have an established reputation for providing high standards and high expectations within a caring and nurturing environment.

In order to be effective learners, we believe children need to develop personal, social and emotional skills such as self-esteem, independence, enthusiasm and resilience as well as a love of learning. Every child matters to us and we aim to encourage children to achieve their best via a broad, balanced and relevant curriculum.

To this end, children are provided with many opportunities to participate in art, drama, music and sports whilst at Nascot Wood.
