About

Welcome to the Ashfield Junior School website which has been designed to keep parents informed and to give newcomers an introduction to our school, to our staff, our governors and to the children. I am extremely proud to be the headteacher of Ashfield Junior School.

I joined the school in January 2022 knowing of its Ashfield is a two form entry Voluntary Controlled Junior School, catering for children between the ages of seven and eleven with an admission limit of 60 for each year group.

As established by the original trustees, the school has no religious affiliation with any denomination and was founded by voluntary subscription in 1845 for the Vision and Aims We know that our children only get one chance at their education and we take very seriously our role of providing the very best possible opportunities for them to gain the most form their time here at Ashfield.

As they go through their junior years, we encourage our children to make informed
