Hornsea Community Primary School is larger than average, with 442 pupils aged 4 to 11 years. We provide an inclusive, individualised education for all of our pupils to help them to develop into responsible and reflective adults of Hornsea, and Britain, in the future.
HCPS is a welcoming and caring school where children flourish as individuals in an atmosphere of mutual respect and trust. We expect everyone to work hard and seek to improve throughout their time at school. We provide a challenging and inspiring curriculum which enables all children to fulfil their potential.
Our teachers are committed to supporting every child they teach to make the best possible progress, whatever their starting points and individual needs are. We welcome you into our school and look forward to a happy and successful association over the coming years. Confidence in a school comes from knowing and understanding what happens within it.
It is important that mutual understanding and trust be the basis of our shared responsibility. We seek to develop a strong partnership between home and school. We value the contributions you can make in supporting your child in their education.
