About

Medina House School has been supporting the educational experiences of children on the Isle of Wight for over 30 years. As the only primary aged specialist school on the Isle of Wight, our pupil demographics are diverse but this creates an exciting and very special school.

We are a Rights Respecting school and achieved our UK Silver accreditation from Unicef, demonstrating our commitment to learn about the United Nations Convention for the Rights of the Child (UNCRC). At MHS we all strive to "be the best that we can be!". This school motto applies to all stakeholders at the school and is something that is celebrated daily.

We acknowledge that to achieve the "best" we need to work in close partnership with parents and external agencies to ensure that every pupil receives the highest standards of education and care.

Our staff team are dedicated in being their best and to help support this we put professional learning and development at the heart of our efforts to ensure that expertise within the school develops to meet the challenge of providing the very best.
