Sandwich Junior School is a two form entry school with eight spacious classrooms, each equipped with the latest interactive whiteboard technology. We are extremely fortunate to be located on spacious grounds, bordered by vast playing fields spanning a huge area.
These provide plenty of room for a running track, football pitches and a cricket strip, as well as plenty of green space for rounders, athletics and drama activities (on our very own outdoor stage).
Our field area also includes a wonderful orchard full of delicious freshly grown fruit, a hidden garden with troughs for planting seasonal vegetables and a labyrinth, which is a much loved spiritual and peaceful part of the school's legacy where children can take time to focus on their thoughts.
Additionally, two large playgrounds are each home to exciting outdoor adventure play equipment, basketball nets, netball posts and sturdy sheltered eating areas, complete with wooden tables - perfect for outdoor learning or dining.
