About

I would like to take this opportunity to welcome you to St Matthews High Brooms Church of England Primary School a vibrant and inclusive two form entry school situated in Tunbridge Wells. I have the privilege of being the Headteacher of St Matthews; our children are encouraged to work hard to achieve their potential and are inspired to take pride in their achievements.

We celebrate that our children have many different talents and skills and we provide rich experiences to support learning across and beyond the curriculum. The school is proud of the warm and caring attitude we have for one another, celebrating differences and sharing similarities this makes us a strong and positive community of children and adults.

The school builds upon the strong foundations of our Christian Values: responsibility, kindness, honesty and respect are embedded in the way in which we behave and work together as a community.

We want the children to feel happy and safe here at St Matts, where they can develop a life-long passion for learning, increase in confidence, and be equipped with the skills and knowledge for their lives ahead.
