About

Welcome to Hartlip School I was appointed as Headteacher at Hartlip School in April 2013. I am proud to lead a committed and hardworking staff who work tirelessly to deliver good if not outstanding teaching and learning on a daily basis.

We believe that every day is a learning day and together we all learn, in a safe, trusting environment, allowing us to make mistakes and learn from them. The school is led and challenged by a highly committed, experienced and dedicated Governing Body. They ensure standards are high and set the strategic direction of the school on a termly basis.

Robust review and challenge ensures that the school never stands still and is always forward moving. The Trustees of the Mary Gibbon Charity meet regularly to hear about the school and consider how to financially support the provision for the children in accordance with this special lady's vision and legacy.
