About

Buckshaw is a friendly and caring school; a diverse and inclusive family. We pride ourselves on the fact that we know and understand each child as an individual who is valued and nurtured to be the best they can be. Relationships with children, their families and our community are a real strength of our school.

It is important to us that we prepare children for the next stage in their education and for life. We do this by working hard to develop our school values of kindness, respect, responsibility, courage, determination and independence so that children are equipped to make a positive contribution to their community.

Our values are woven through a curriculum that is planned to help children develop a love of learning and a sense of aspiration. We enhance our curriculum with a range of opportunities and experiences to bring learning to life and make memories. We want our children to believe that by working hard, they can fulfil their dreams.
