About

I joined the Whitefield family as Headteacher in January 2010. I still walk in and around the school and marvel at what a fantastic place it is and how wonderful the children are, and after sixteen years I am certain that feeling will never change!

At Whitefield we have skilled and dedicated staff who work hard to ensure all children achieve their best, both academically and socially. We follow our motto of HEALTHY HEARTS, HEALTHY BODIES, HEALTHY MINDS in everything we do and demonstrate our very best at all times by being READY, RESPECTFUL and SAFE.

We provide weekly dedicated Forest School activities and outdoor learning activities for all children in Reception as part of our ambitious curriculum. This will continue for our new Reception children in September 2026. We are passionate about play and using the outdoors for our learning at every opportunity.
