Vision at Little Digmoor we believe that education is a great leveller, where every child has the opportunity to thrive and succeed regardless of their background or circumstances. We believe that, as a school, we must provide a nurturing and inclusive environment, where we do everything we can to remove any barriers to learning.
We also believe that our school should provide equality of valuable experiences and opportunities for growth. This, we feel, supports every child to make the most of their learning journey, and should be interwoven into a curriculum designed for and wherever possible, in collaboration with, our children.
At Little Digmoor, we aim to cultivate a culture grounded in our School Values of responsibility, resilience, and respect. These values are important to the whole school community (children, staff, parents and governors) who were all consulted before they were chosen.
Overwhelmingly we felt that these values would make school a better place and prepare our children for their role as future citizens. However, the school values apply to every member of the school community and we expect everyone to demonstrate responsibility, resilience and respect.
