I have always strongly believed that having the opportunity to educate other people's children is a rare privilege. At Longton Primary School we take this responsibility extremely seriously. We care about the individual and we pride ourselves in the warmth of a community in which young people feel happy and valued.
We seek to create an environment of high expectations in which all our pupils are encouraged to believe in themselves, to be inquisitive, to be resilient and to show ambition both within and beyond the classroom.

Governing body (9 current, 3 former)
iMaintained school governing body (trust-linked).3 governors are linked to a profile (all confirmed).
Governors marked “Confirmed same person” have exactly the same forename and surname as the only officer of that name at the school’s own academy trust company on the Companies House register, so we treat them as the same person. The governance record itself comes from DfE.
