It is my privilege to welcome you to the website for Westhead Lathom St James' CE Primary School. I trust you will find all the information you require and invite you to make an appointment to meet us in person and see for yourself our wonderful school. Westhead Lathom St James' CE Primary School really is the heartbeat of the local community.
We are a smaller than average, semi-rural school with strong links with the local church - St James' in Westhead – as well as the wider community. As a church school, our Christian values are central to everything we do and Reverend Sephton regularly visits school to join us in our collective worship.
At the heart of every successful school are the children and here at St James' we seek to provide the best possible start in life for all of our pupils.
Children's first experience of education should be positive and life enriching, filled with lessons that are vibrant and engaging which draw children into the learning experience, developing their thirst for knowledge- something which I know that the staff here are committed to achieving.
