Welcome to Quernmore Primary School. We are a small rural primary school with around 95 children, who come to us from the city of Lancaster and from the rural community. We are very fortunate to be situated in an exceptionally beautiful location between the Forest of Bowland and Lancaster. We are surrounded by hills and fields, our own school woods and playing fields.
We are located next to St Peter's Church and our Christian partnership is very important to us. Reverend Cindy leads worship every week in school and we share our Christian festivals and events with the Church community. Our school is a place where every child is nurtured and valued.
We know our children and families well and all our staff work hard to make sure that our pupils have the very best start in life with us. Every class has an experienced class teacher and teaching assistant. We are incredibly lucky to have a passionate and well-established team who are committed to children's wellbeing and education.
