About

We are a small rural primary school with great facilities, dedicated and caring and staff and a supportive community. Our children are caring and thoughtful and look after each other. Our pupils are taught in 2 classes with at least 2 members of staff in each class.

Children can join this class (in our Nursery) from the term after their 3rd birthday until they reach school age when they attend full time. We offer 2 full days in our Nursery (Monday & Tuesday). This ensures they are confident and secure starting school as they already know the staff and children.

Children are taught by Miss Morgan (Class teacher),Mrs Lowther (HLTA) and Mrs Cleasby (TA) Mrs Speight (Teaching Assistant). Children in Y3,4,5 and 6 are taught by Mrs Kay (Class teacher) ,Mrs Denby (HLTA) and Mrs Lowther (HLTA). Our PE teacher, Mrs Speight is fully involved in the life of the school and we compete with the Lune Valley cluster in many events.
