Welcome to get to and from school, walking is definitely the best option! There are lots of benefits: it's healthier than travelling by car, it improves the safety of pedestrians and road-users, and it respects nearby residents and parking regulations.
The school car park should not be used to drop off and collect your child(ren) and't here is a large FREE public car park next door to school.
The school day starts at 8.55am and finishes at 3.25pm. All children can enter school from 8.45am. All children have a morning playtime from 10.15am - 10.30am. Lunchtime is 12noon to 1pm; due to our pupil numbers the dinners are served in two sittings with the Infants first then the Juniors unless it is a 'special themed lunch' when we operate a 'through' service.
Infant children have an afternoon playtime from 2.15pm - 2.30pm. At the beginning and end of the school day all children are dropped off and collected from their classroom doors. If normal arrangements have to be altered (e.g. you are delayed or another person is collecting your child) please let us know. This avoids any confusion or upset.
